Believe it or not, I can cook!
Those who know me already know that in the past, my attempts at cooking were limited to opening a can or microwaving a plastic tray. However, in the past few years, I have started cooking actual meals. I am by no means an excellent cook, but I have found a style of cooking that works for me and still allows me to cook healthfully and use a variety of flavors and ingredients. If you are familiar with Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee, then you get the idea. My meals are part homemade, part pre-prepared. Since I grew up in a home where most meals were completely from scratch (my mom is an amazing home cook,) sometimes I feel as if I am cheating, but so far, the meals I have made are good and good for you (well, most of the time), so cooking this way is working for me! Below are some of my favorite recipes. Some of them I made up myself, others are from magazines, but for the most part, they are a little bit of both!
